Student Council Investiture Ceremony 2026

Shri Sohanlal Manihar Girls' Sr. Sec. School, Jodhpur, proudly organized its Student Council Investiture Ceremony on 15 July 2026 to formally confer responsibilities upon the newly elected Student Council representatives.

The ceremony was graced by Dr. Shobha Modi as the Chief Guest and Mrs. Rajshree Rathi as the Special Guest. The programme began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge, leadership, and wisdom.

The Chief Guest and Special Guest ceremonially presented badges to the Head Girl, Vice Head Girl, Senior House Captains and Vice-Captains, and Junior House Captains and Vice-Captains. They also administered the Oath of Office, inspiring the newly elected leaders to carry out their duties with honesty, dedication, discipline, and responsibility.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Dinesh Choudhary highlighted the importance of the Student Council in nurturing leadership qualities, teamwork, and decision-making skills among students. He emphasized that the Student Council members act as a vital bridge between the students and the school administration by conveying students' suggestions, concerns, and feedback, thereby contributing to the overall development of the school.

The ceremony concluded with a photography session to commemorate the occasion. The event was well-organized and received an enthusiastic response from the students, staff, and distinguished guests, making it a memorable and inspiring milestone for the newly elected student leaders.
